Users who have the Access Level Access to Specific Projects only will need Projects to be shared with them to gain access. This is a useful way to control access to specific Projects for users who require restricted access to your Project Library.

Sharing a Project with a user
There are several places you can share a Project with a user.
The Project library
You can share Projects with other users from the Project library.
- Go to your Project library by selecting Projects from the top toolbar.
- Find the Project you'd like to share using the search and filters to narrow down your results if needed.
- Select the Project's ellipsis menu (
).
- Choose Share Project.
- Choose the author(s) you'd like to share the Project with from the Add an author drop-down menu.
The chosen user(s) can now access the Project. They will receive an email notification that this Project has been shared with them.
| Note: You can only choose to directly share Projects with users with the Access to Specific Projects only Access Level. Users with Access to all Departments and Projects can access every Project in the library and users with Access to specific Departments can access all Projects in any folder within their Department. |
From the Project’s Pages overview page
You can also access the Share options from a Project’s Pages overview page.
- Open the Project you’d like to share—you will be taken to the Pages overview.
- Select Share on the right-hand side of the page to open the Share your Project window.
In the Project’s editing interface
You can also access the Share options directly from a Project’s editing interface.
- Open the Project you’d like to share.
- Select a page’s ellipsis menu (
- Choose Edit Page.
- Select Share from the Project toolbar.
