As well as uploading videos directly, or embedding from a supported service like Youtube or Brightcove, you can also embed other third-party content into the video by pasting the content's URL or embed code into the embed field.
This is useful if you want to embed a video from a third-party service such as Synthesia, or embed other web content and use the video container as an inline frame (iframe). It can also be a useful time-saver if you already have learning content available to access online—the content can be directly embedded into the Elucidat course without the need to re-build it from scratch.
Caution: Due to the near limitless range of content that can be embedded into the video container, we only support embedding video from Youtube, Brightcove, and Vimeo. We cannot guarantee a consistent experience when using the video container to embed web content or with unsupported video services. Unsupported videos and other web content will not work with Elucidat's progress tracking and page locking functionality. See Best Practice: Embedding videos for more guidance about supported video methods and embedding content in your course. |
