Creating a new Project using the pages from an existing one

One way to speed up the build process is to use pages from another Project as the base for a new one. This is great if you have existing content that follows a specific format or if you‘d like to reuse a particular layout or structure that has already been built.

Creating a new Project from an existing one

  1. Click Create from another project

  2. Choose your preferred Style. You can use one of your own or start with an example Style —you can always change it later.
  3. Name your new Project and click Get started to open the importer window

  4. Use the search bar or filter by folder to find the Project you would like to use

  5. Choose the Project you‘d like to use and select Next in the bottom-right hand corner
  6. Use the radio button on each page tile to choose the pages from that Project you‘d like to use

  7. Click Finish to complete the process and go to your new Project
Note
Projects that were built using the deprecated Themes will not appear in the Project search. As a result, it is not possible to add pages from a Theme Project to one that uses Styles and vice versa.

Importing pages from a Project into another

From Pages, you can start the same process by clicking Import in Pages.

The rest of the process then follows the same steps as above.
