Release highlights
Project sharing and access management improvement
The Share button is now available in the Project editing interface and a Project’s Pages area. Previously, it was only possible to share a Project via the Project Library. Now, these controls are much more visible and can be accessed in several different places, making it easier to control who can access your Project.
The Share dialog window also shows:
- Whether the Project is part of a Department
- Whether the Project has been directly shared with one or more users and who those users are
Device view update
The Device View slider controls have been updated. We have simplified the controls and removed the real device presets, focusing instead on the four breakpoints that cover the majority of device sizes.
We have also added a Reset control that resets the view back to the default size.

Fixes
- Typing too quickly when editing certain components no longer causes the cursor to jump to random points in the text.
- New Projects created with a Call to Action component no longer crash when editing the Call to Action‘s title.
- Create platform no longer crashes in Google Chrome when user opens Preview and switches the captions in a video. Preview now opens in its own window rather than a pop-up—this means users are now required to save any unsaved edits before accessing Preview.
- Comments can now be resolved by other users, not just the original author of the comment.
- Previously, when a Parent with Variations was created and owned by different users, the Projects were hidden from anyone who wasn’t granted direct access. This meant the owner of the Parent couldn’t see all Variations and was blocked from releasing a Multi-Language course. Now, any user with access to the Parent or at least one Variation will automatically be granted Viewer access to all other Variations in the set.
- The Project overview sidebar menu no longer automatically closes after a short period of time.

Note: These release notes focus on major
new
features, improvements, and bug fixes that users will experience
directly. Unlike a detailed changelog which lists all technical
changes, these notes highlight the most important updates.
Our team is constantly working on essential background improvements, including backend systems, infrastructure, and preparation for future features. While this parallel work is not listed here, it is strategically planned and executed alongside the visible improvements described in these notes. |
