While you’re building and editing your Multi-Language Project, you may need to switch between the Parent Course and its Variations. There are a few different ways to navigate between your Parent Course and its Variations.
Using the Pages dropdown
Go to Pages in either your Parent Course or Variation.
You’ll see a dropdown menu to the left of the Project title which will indicate whether you’re in a Parent or a Variation. From this dropdown menu, you can quickly switch between your Parent Course and Variations.
You can also quickly see which type of Project you're in by its color. If you're in a Parent Course, the color below the toolbar will be pink. If you're in a Variation, the color below the toolbar will be light-blue.
Navigating in Variations Manager
You can also go to your Variations in Variations Manager by selecting the name of the Variation:
Parents and Variations in the Project Library
Even though Parent Courses and Variations are connected, they will appear separately in the Project Library. Variations will appear underneath the Parent Courses they were created from.
You can also reveal the Variations of a Parent Course by selecting Show Variations.
