What is the situation now?
At present, Elucidat offers the version 2 API which most, if not all, of our API integrated customers are using.
However, we also have in place the older version 1 API, which has seen little to no usage or updates in a long time.
What are we changing?
Elucidat will be removing the version 1 API as of the 15th February, 2023.
Why are we making this change?
Due to a lack of usage, and the amount of time since the version 1 API was updated. This will allow us to focus any future API work on one API - version 2, which is currently in use by our customers.
What do I need to do?
Our data shows no usage of the version 1 API, so you shouldn't need to do anything.
If you believe that you have a very old integration with Elucidat that may use the version 1 API, it will require rewriting as per the version 2 API.
We don't believe, however, that anyone is in this position.
