With ‘Resources’ you can upload useful documents to accompany your course.
They can be accessed at any time from your course. Usually from the ‘Resources’ icon in the lower left of your screen (this may vary between Themes).
Here are a few examples from the default Elucidat themes:
To add a Resource, choose the ‘Configure’ tab from your the project menu:
Press the orange ‘Resources’ button:
Press the orange ‘Add a Resource’ button:
In the ‘Your Project Resources’ menu rename your Resource and select the file from your computer:
Then choose from the two download options if you wish to link to your resource in the project text choose ‘Use the browser’s default behaviour’.
Please note that the ‘Force this file to download onto the Learner’s computer’ setting’ can not be used with the ‘Offline backup’ option.
When you are happy with your settings, hit the ‘Upload’ button.
Resources can be PDF, Word or Excel files, and be up to 4mb.
To link to a resource in your Project text
You may want to link to resources in your text.
To do so, first add your resource as described above.
Once you have uploaded your resource the ‘Your project resources’ menu will appear with your resource:
Click the linked text (in blue) to open your resource.
Now the ‘Edit Resource’ window will open.
Click the linked text (in blue) and your resource will open, then copy the URL.
