At Elucidat we try to be as accessible to as many users as possible and, like all considerate software companies, we have to tread the line between providing great functionality, supporting older technology, and ensuring that our users are protected.
Our compatibility policy was created to make it easier for us to not only keep you and learners secure by keeping up with the best modern technologies, but also improve the Elucidat experience as a whole.
For authoring, we support the latest two versions of all major desktop browsers. We do not support authoring on mobile browsers.
For learning content, we support the latest two desktop and mobile versions of all major browsers.
Supported browsers include:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Microsoft Edge
We also support Internet Explorer 11 but cannot provide support for any older versions of Internet Explorer.
In practice, learners will find that Elucidat courses work well in almost every modern OS (operating system) for both desktop computers and mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.
We don't expect any specific issues in earlier OS versions and older devices but we also cannot guarantee that there won't be a degradation in learner experience as a result of using older or outdated software or devices. In this event, we cannot provide support or guarantee maintenance fixes to address this.
Authoring is only supported on desktop devices and we do not support authoring on mobile devices.
