Is Elucidat compatible with all browsers and devices?

At Elucidat we try to be as accessible to as many users as possible and like all considerate software companies we have to tread the line between providing great functionality, supporting older technology and ensuring that our users are protected.

 

Browser compatibility

For authors, we support the latest two versions of all major desktop browsers. We do not support authoring on mobile browsers. 

For learners, we support the latest two desktop and mobile versions of all major browsers. 

Supported browsers include:

  • Google Chrome 
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

We also support Internet Explorer 11 but cannot provide support for any older versions of Internet Explorer.

This makes it easier for us to not only keep you secure, but also improve your Elucidat experience to keep up with the best modern technologies.



Device compatibility

In practice, learners will find that Elucidat courses work well in almost every modern OS (operating system) for both desktop computers and mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. 

In some earlier OS versions and some earlier devices, you may experience minor visual differences but this should not affect functionality.

Authoring is only supported on desktop devices and we do not support authoring on mobile devices.
