Elucidat Projects can be duplicated to create an exact copy which is separate from the original Project and can be edited independently. The most common reason to do this is if you want to use one course as a template for others.
How to duplicate a Project
1. Select Configure in the Project you would like to duplicate:
2. Select Duplicate in the sidebar on the right side of the screen:
3. Rename your new Project in the popup window which opens. By default, this will use the name of the original Project, with ‘duplicate’ added to the end in parentheses:
4. After naming your new Project, select Duplicate from the buttons in the popup window:
5. After a brief duplication process, a new popup will open, which contains a link to go straight to your new Project:
6. If you would like to continue working in the original Project instead, then select Close:
Tip: The duplicated Project will be assigned to the same Folders as the original Project. |
Note: If you are duplicating a Variation of a Master Project, the new Project will also be a Variation of the same Master. For more information about creating a copy of a Variation which is not connected to the original Master Project, please see Importing Pages From Another Project. |
