Assigning an Author to a Department 

Assigning authors to a specific department will ensure those authors only have access to courses relevant to their roles within your organisation. They will no longer be able to view courses which are not part of that department.


1. Go to the Team tab:

2. Select the Users tab, and locate the user you wish to assign a department to:

3. Select the user's name to open the right hand sidebar menu.

4. Click on the Project access scope drop down menu:

5. Select Access to specific Departments.

6. A new Departments drop down menu will appear underneath. Click the dropdown menu and select the departments you wish to assign to the user.

7. Select the Save changes button.

8. If you go back to the Users tab you will now see your user only has access to that specific department.
