Can I use Elucidat in my preferred language?

The Elucidat authoring platform is available to use in 10 different languages. You can switch the interface language at any time.

If you would like to learn more about translating your courses into different languages, see Feature Focus: Translation. To find out more about the supported languages for course translation, see Which languages can I translate my courses into?

Which languages are supported?

Here are the languages Elucidat is available in:

Supported languages

English (UK) Italian
English (US) Norwegian
German Portuguese (Brazil)
Spanish Japanese
French Chinese (Simplified)

Selecting a different language

1. Select the globe icon in the top right of the screen:

2. Choose your preferred language from the drop-down menu

What happens when I switch languages?

The interface will refresh and be presented in the selected language:

Switching the interface language doesn't affect any of your existing Projects or courses. However, new Projects will be built in the language that is currently being used.

For example, if your interface is in French, then any new Projects you create will also be created in French. All default text (like the text in the Flip button on a Flipcard or the Next and Previous buttons) for the parts in that course will be French:
