Depending on which Elucidat features you have access to, you may be asked to choose which Elucidat experience you'd like to use when you log in.
There are two options: Advanced design and Quick build.
Each option is designed to offer a different building experience.

Tip: If you have a preferred option, you can select Remember at the bottom right of the screen and then choose your experience. This will be selected for you each time you log in again. This preference is stored as a cookie so you will need to clear your cookies if you would like the selection screen to appear again. |
Advanced design
Choosing the Advanced design option will bring you to the Elucidat platform. Here, you can build tailored elearning courses using the Elucidat authoring interface.
This is a great choice for creating courses that require more complexity and thought behind the building. You can start a course from scratch and build out the structure and content of the course yourself or use one of the faster building methods like Learning Accelerator Templates or the PowerPoint importer.
From there, you can create quizzes and use Rules to make branching scenarios and personalize the course to different types of learners. You have finer control over the layout of the course and have a wealth of options to style it exactly how you like.
You might find this option suitable if you already have some experience with learning design.

Quick build
Choosing Quick build will bring you to the Elucidat Create platform. This is more suited for building shorter, bite-sized pieces of learning. For example, if you need to explain a process or create quick onboarding, Quick build is a great option. However, if you need to build a much more thorough compliance course, choose Advanced design instead.
Elucidat Create is perfect for those who want to create professional-looking content but are new to elearning or don't have much experience with learning design.
It is also an excellent choice for those who need to build content quickly, as it offers templates and pre-built designs that can be easily edited according to your needs. You can also use PowerPoint presentations and our AI features to quickly build the base of a Project if you already have learning material to work from.
Its modular design makes it easy to copy and paste elements between pages. You can easily swap out interaction types without losing the text content within, and each save you make can be recalled freely without overwriting the most recent changes so you can experiment without any risk of losing your original content.
