Contain: Makes sure that the entire image is always shown - by sizing it so that it fits within the box.
Fixed: Allows you to choose a zoom level, using the Image size slider.
Original: The image size will not be altered at all.
Note: If your Learners are using IE8 you will want to resize your images before you upload them, click here to learn how to do that.
Elucidat supports .png .jpeg and .gif formats up to 12mb, we limit uploads to this size so that your images will display correctly on all internet connections.
How are images compressed?
Elucidat will compress image files to a size that is appropriate to the size of the container they are being added to.
We do this for the best mobile experience and to provide optimal load times.
If you add an image to a very small container, the image will be compressed to a slightly lower quality but still retain the fidelity you require.
If you enlarge a container that has an image already added to it, it is good practice to re-upload your image so that the image is at a quality that is approapriate for that image size.
